Case Study
It has always been in Petra’s heart to seek wisdom and self mastery, and in turn to be of service to others who are seeking the same. As a result of working through many difficult experiences herself and finding enlightened mentors who assisted her with her own transformation, she is committed to assiting others on their path. This is where her passion lies.
Raised as a foster child, Petra was well-acquainted with the plight of a child in need. Her own personal experiences led her to become a social worker in Germany – assisting families and teaching kindergarden teachers for six years. Although she received satisfaction from her work it became clear that her training had not take her deep enough to unravel and heal her own childhood wounds. It was at this point of awareness that she immersed herself in her own life-transformational work, studying with personal mentors and transformational masters in both Germany and the U.S., serving in the leadership of their organizations and eventualy developing her own coaching practice in Hamburg, Germany. For more than six years she offered her individual coaching services and workshops to clients in different areas of Germany.
In 2004 Petra married and moved to California. Becoming a mother and creating a life in a new country served as important rites of passage for her, deepening her own personal transformation. In the United States, Petra expanded her credentials through becoming certified in specialized personal coaching programs at the IPEC Coaching Institute.
Petra is also joyfully involved in the Warldorf Community. She is learning and integrating the teachings of Rudolf Steiner into her life, her coaching and her workshops. Petra loves to be in nature, to cook, to craft, to travel and to live a loving life with ther husband and her daughter, in harmony with the seasons.
